A small ad placed in a local shopper newspaper in the fall of 1981 appealed to area quilters to meet and share their interest in quilting.  There were about 15 women at that first meeting in November at Central Square in Lockport.  Today, we have grown to a group of over 150 quilters through wonderful programs, creative workshops, awesome speakers, and a guild with a nurturing heart.
